The Art of Life is Letting Go

Hello and a happy Wednesday to you.
I have been playing a lot with my watercolours and various quality ones too just to see the kind of results I will get from using cheaper products as opposed to the more expensive ones that some crafters just cant afford.
I bought a set of cheaper watercolours whilst in a POUNDSHOP on holiday last year
and I decided to colour this stamped image (stamp from The Range, sentiment from Colourific)
I think it came out ok. what do you think?

Live Life in Full Bloom

My friend Lisa from Ella’s Design has some wonderful digi designs in her Etsy Shop and I have had the pleasure of making some cards using her designs. The first one is a gorgeous daisy from the Daisy Digi Kit Set
I have used my watercolours to colour this one and I thoroughly enjoyed it as the image had wide open space to colour and shade etc.
Get over to Lisa’s Blog and have a nosey round, she has some wonderful projects to share with you but I would reccomend getting a bru before hand you may be there for a while lol
hugs Aly xx

Home Grown

Today I wanted to have a play and try something a bit different. I still wanted vintage and I wanted washy too so…….
I used Thirsty Brush Bay and Oregano stamp set and dies for this teqnique.
Basically I used my stamp press and stamped out the leaves onto watercolour card and then I spritzed over them with water.
I stamped out the large leaves again and coloured and die cut them and mounted then onto the card and added the lovely sentiment. I added a few waterdrop gems and then I brushed around the edges with some Vintage Photo Distress Ink
