You can never have too Many Pens! ~ Bert and Gert’s

Hi there today I am sharing a “canvas” using Bert and Gert’s FAB new Vintage Stamp release that you can get from Create and Craft
Hope you enjoy, pop back soon!
Hugs Aly xxx

How I made it~
For the background I have stamped out the pens from the Art Deco Pen stamp and halved the page with a script stamp across the bottom.
I have taken some string and wrapped across the join for effect.
I have stamped out 4 pens from the Write Your Own Story Stamp Set and separately stamped out the fountain pen and adhered that to the image for height, I have done this on Kraft card.
I then splatted some of the green Oxide inks onto the image and edged around both the main image and the background image to give a vintage effect.
Then to finish mount onto some black card to make it pop!

How its Made ~

Cut some card to 4inch x 6 inch this is your base for a large ATC.
Create a background, I have used paints and stencils, cut out roses, I’ve used a bottle top to create the circles using Distress Ink and the edge of an old store card to make the lines.
I’ve cut out a little girl from Mixed Up Pintable’s, Little People #1 and created some wings and a hat
I have added a sentiment, then I have outlined that and the little girl using a watercolour pencil to give some depth and shade
Finally I have edged the whole ATC with Black Soot Distress Ink

Taylor Made Cards 4 U ~ Passport to Love

Hello there, wow 14th January already hasn’t the time into the New Year gone quickly, will soon be Christmas!
(Ducks to avoid the flying debris!)

Today I bring you some LOVE in the form of a gorgeous tag created using a fabulous sheet from Taylor Made Cards 4 U

Here is how I made it, hope you enjoy and see you again soon
Hugs Aly xxx

I have started by adhering one of the backing papers to the tag, then, I have stamped a script text using Vintage Photo all over the surface….

I have then chosen a layout for my tag and popped it all together.
I have used parts of the sheet from TMC4U and I’ve added burlap and a heart that I made from a clay mould from my stash, I also added some sheet text in the background also from my own stash

My finished tag
